my journey

I have been working for al khaliji since 1st July 2007. I chose al khaliji as my next employer because it was a new Bank. It seemed to have a strong and fresh new approach to banking and was something I really wanted to become part of.

I joined the Corporate Affairs team to look after our internal communications, events management and also communicating the news. My role also looks after Community Projects, including organising volunteers for charity work.

The best part about my current role is that I can communicate with everyone, no exceptions, and everyone knows who I am and what I can do. It's a real family feeling and it's nice to know that everyone knows your name.

I'm really enjoying working in Corporate Affairs, we have a United approach to our work and such great diversity amongst everyone's skill set. I think the best part about working for al khaliji is that we have more than 34 nationalities, with a great mixture of skills. We're all united and work well together for our one target - building a Bank from scratch!
