Tamim Al Tamimi

I have been working at al khaliji since Sept 2008. I was looking for a new challenge where I can take my proven skills and apply them to new situations, as well as learning new techniques to continue my development. This led me to join al khaliji the newly established bank in Qatar. By this I was given the opportunity to see all the required process in getting the bank operative. This allowed me to contribute in making the next generation bank dream become real.

My current role is a Relationship Manager in Small & Medium Enterprises and I'm responsible for reviewing, presenting and recommending lending proposals to Credit Committee. I also design and negotiate lending programmes and effectively manage leads to identify, prospect and convert target market clients. In addition to the above, I monitor, control and manage the portfolio to ensure the maximum profitability is being achieved and minimum risk is met. Moreover, ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements in keeping with our internal & external policies.

My role gives me the chance to establish and maintain good relationship with corporate clients allowing me to apply my knowledge and skills which adding a daily value to my career.

I like the team work behavior in our business which was existed from day one. These behaviors create a healthy environment around us which make me feel we are all belonging to one family (al khaliji).
