Doha, 10 May 2010: Al Khalij Commercial Bank (al khaliji) Q.S.C. announced today that it is currently evaluating the possibility of a business combination with another financial institution.

According to al khaliji, preliminary discussions have been conducted but no decisions have been made until this date.

The outcome of the process remains uncertain.

Further information will be released by the Bank when appropriate.
