• al khaliji Bin Omran offers full service retail, business, corporate and premium banking services

Doha, 19 May 2010: Under the patronage of HE Sheikh Hamad Bin Faisal Bin Thani Al Thani, al khalij Commercial Bank's Chairman and Managing Director, Qatar's 'next generation' bank opened its latest full service branch in Bin Omran on 17 May, as part of al khaliji's commitment towards providing its customers with the highest levels of convenience and service.

al khaliji organized a symbolic ceremony where HE Sheikh Abdullah Bin Saoud Al-Thani the Governor, Chairman of the Board of Directors in Qatar Central Bank, cut the ceremonial ribbon in the presence of HE Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassem Bin Thani Al Thani, Chairman of Qatari Businessmen Association and Al Faisal Holding Co., and HE Sheikh Khalifa Bin Jassim Bin Mohammed Al Thani Chairman of Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The celebration was also attended by al Khaliji Board Members represented by Mr. Abdullah Bin Nasser Al Misned, al khaliji Vice Chairman and Mr. Mohammed bin Khaled Al Mana, al khaliji Board Member. Attendees also included Qatari officials and businessmen including Mr. Moajib Turki Al Subiei Director of Banking Supervision and Control Department, Chairman, Sherida Saad Jubran Al Kaabi, the Chairman of Al Balagh Trading & Contracting Co., Mr. Omar Ahmad Al Mana, Chairman Al Mana Group, Mr. Tarek Ahmed Al Malki, al khaliji former Chairman, Mr. Abdulwahed Al Mawlawi, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Al Ahli Hospital and senior al khaliji executives and employees.

 

Their Excellencies the Sheikhs and official guests were escorted around the branch by Mrs. Abeer Al Kalla, al khaliji Head of Public Relations and Communications, and were the first to observe the branch layout, and receive information about the services which the bank will offer to its customers in its new Bin Omran branch.
