Doha, 14 July 2010: al khaliji in partnership with Qatar Fuel Company (Woqod) has added four (4) new automated teller machines (ATMs) in key locations across Doha, with plans to increase its ATM network to 22 machines by the end of the summer.

The four petrol stations now offering greater customer convenience with the opening of state of the art al khaliji ATMs are Woqod Gharafa (one ATM in store, one Drive Thru), Woqod Industrial Area and Woqod Rayyan Road.

Notably al khaliji ATM's accept cash and cheque deposits 24/7 making them particularly suitable for business customers located in the Woqod Industrial Area .

As part of our ongoing investment in technology and commitment to providing excellent customer service, we aim to continue opening new ATM machines in the future," says Andrew Ball, al khaliji Acting Head of Consumer Banking.

Specially chosen for their eco-friendliness and ease of use, al khaliji ATM's include a 24-hour cash and cheque deposit facility with the added benefit of an instant scanned copy of each cheque provided as a receipt to guarantee financial security.

Abroad, al khaliji ATM cardholders can withdraw cash at over 1.4 million Visa ATMs in more than 200 countries.

al khaliji ATM's include nano technology to ensure a completely "germ free" ATM keypad for every user, targeted promotions based on the information customers key into the ATM and eco-friendly power & paper saving features which benefit the environment

al khaliji plans to expand its ATM network by opening new machines at Lulu Center (Al Saad) in July and Qatar UAE Exchange (Al Rayyan ) during August, increasing the al khaliji ATM network to 22 with seven in branches and 15 located in shops and malls offering customers fast, convenient access to their money when & where they need it.
